I wanted to pass on some good news that my son Greg has committed to attend Georgetown University and that the process has finally reached a conclusion. I can honestly say that our participation with SkillShow played an integral part in our plan to get exposure with the college coaches. Since I am sold on the value of the SkillShow services I wanted to see if you might be available to participate in a recruiting presentation that I am working on with our HS coach for the baseball underclassmen.

My son was at the College Select Showcase with TR in Binghamton, and we signed up for the SkillShow video presentation. I must say that it did get results!!!! A head coach from New York had sent my son some information about his university, which was later followed up by his recruiting coach. It turns out that when the recruiting coach had seen the video my son sent from SkillShow, the coach thought he remembered seeing my sons batting swing before. The coach read his name, and saw where he was from and remembered seeing my son play during his spring high school season here in Illinois. The recruiting coach from the university in New York grew-up in Illinois, and was in the Chicago area looking at players during the spring/summer high school seasons. We also used this video presentation for other schools that my son was interested in, solicited or otherwise. Some gave feedback, some didn't. My son has narrowed his selection down to four schools, and will keep his options open to four others. I have nothing to gain by promoting SkillShow, or TR's showcases, but my son has been contacted by several D3 schools in the East that are intrested in him. This is a result, we feel, that has occurred by attending a quality showcase, and by having a quality video presentation.

Christian is doing fine and attending Angelina College a D-1 JUCO in Lufkin Texas. The fall season has started and he has gotten off to a good start (first game, first batter, first pitch, first hit). The SkillShow video was sent to a number of D-1 colleges but no serious offers. The JUCO route was the correct choice, we believe. Angelina is a fine JUCO with a very god coach and now that football is out of the picture, full concentration is now on baseball. We have also used the video to ensure mechanics stay sound. Things were in pretty good shape at the showcase.
