- David Kerian Commits to the University of Illinois:
  David Kerian has selected University of Illinois as the school he wishes to earn his degree from. David is excited to playing for Coach Hartlieb, Coach Snider and Illinois other fine coaches. Illinois recently completed a successful season by finishing 2nd in the Regional. David looks forward to helping the program to even more success in the future.
- Washington Nationals 42nd round draft pick:
  The Washington Nationals select David Kerian in the 42nd round of the 2011 major league draft.
- Bernie Saggau Award:
  David received the Bernie Saggau award named after longtime Iowa Athletic Assn. president which honors students who exemplify sportsmanship, integrity and religious convictions.

  David Kerian (2011 - Bishop Heelan HS) had a very good game for the White Team. He hit a home run from the left side of the plate, and a hard triple off the left field fence as well (Right Side). He has been very impressive all spring and is a very interesting unsigned player. He can really run too!

  In recognition of outstanding student achievement and conduct, David Kerian received the 2010 Bishop Heelan Catholic High Shool Life Skills award.

  "The Navy Team's BP session was highlighted by David Kerian (2011/Bishop Heelan/Dakota Dunes, SD). Kerian has a lean athletic build, and is a switch hitter. His lefthanded swing stands out and places him at the top of the batspeed category for this weekend's event. His hands get through the zone quickly and the ball exits hard off of his bat".
- Midwest Prospects 60 yard dash:
  Although David is a power guy, he posted one of the fastest 60's at the showcase with an electronically timed 6.66.
- Iowa 3A Basketball State Champions:
  Bishop Heelan Catholic High School wins another state championship. David was honored by his teammates by receiving the Mr. Hustle award and the prestigious Mr. Pride award for the 2010/2011 season. David was also selected for the Missouri River Conference All Conference team.
- Basketball Captain:
  David Kerian has been selected to be co-captain of the top ranked 2010/2011 Bishop Heelan basketball team.
- All Conference Football:
  David Kerian was a first team all conference selection at linebacker. Kerian also returns punts and is a slot back for the 2010 state runner-up Bishop Heelan Crusaders. Attn: Football Coaches: David has decided to play baseball in college.
- All Conference Baseball:
  David Kerian was a unanimous selection on the MRAC all conference team.
- Top hitter in Missouri River Athletic Conference:
  David Kerian led the MRAC with a .542 batting average. David had 32 hits including 10 doubles for Bishop Heelan Catholic High School.
